Prophetic Word for August 2022

August is the month of revelation, understanding, and new beginnings.

Jesus wants you to rekindle your friendship with Him. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, we were given access to Jesus not only as our Savior, but as our friend. Jesus wants to be our greatest and dearest confidant. Do not be afraid to have casual conversations with Him throughout the day. Jesus takes delight in this. For 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 states, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

It is essential to kill any pride that bubbles up within you. This should be done daily if necessary. As you begin to kill the pride within you and cultivate your friendship with Christ, God will usher you into a new dimension of revelation. This revelation is made available for all who have a hunger for the Word of God and for all those who seek the face of God. Not only will the Lord give you revelation regarding your present, or for some, future marriage, business, and calling, He will give you understanding. Luke 24:45 shows how Jesus opens up our minds to understand the Scriptures. And He will open up your mind to understand the mysteries that have confounded you up to this point. The mysteries regarding your marriage, the mysteries regarding your family, and the mysteries regarding your calling.

When you approach the throne of God, purely to seek the Kingdom of God first, you are going to be amazed on how quickly God is going to reveal His vision for your life in this season. It will be a new beginning for you, in that, the clarity of God is going to ignite a new sense of joy and peace within you like you have never known. This in return is going to restore your faith and set the stage for the promises of God to begin to manifest in your life.
